I have always been a fan of pearls – classy, Southern, and timeless – and I also loved the metaphor of the oyster.

As we all know, a pearl is shaped within an oyster from irritation, a grain of sand that has made its way inside the shell. It’s painful to the oyster, and to protect itself, the oyster covers the foreign object with nacre, or mother of pearl. Over the course of many years, a beautiful pearl is formed.

 We hope these oyster shell candles remind you that in the midst of your hard days, beauty is coming. You, like the oyster, can create something beautiful and treasured from your struggles.

The oyster shells have varying shapes and distinct markings. They will each be slightly different.

Scents:

• Tobacco & Bay Leaf: This is my best-selling fragrance, and always gets a 5-star review. It's a fresh mix of bay leaf, fir needle, cedarwood, bergamot and sweet tobacco.

• Lavender Driftwood: Fresh, woody notes mixed with the clean and distinctive aroma of lavender. Infused with natural essential oils including orange sweet, eucalyptus, pine, clove bud, and clary sage.

• Santal + Coconut: Santal and Coconut is the essence of a luxe tropical escape. While many coconut fragrances are on the sweet side, this scent instead leans on woody notes of sandalwood, cedar, and amyris.

• Eucalyptus & Spearmint: Eucalyptus and lemon on top of spearmint, peppermint and white flowers with dry notes of vanilla, juniper and camphor. This fragrance is the essence of stress relief.

• Island Volcano: This lovely fragrance, inspired by the Capri Blue fragrance, is a clean, fresh scent with top notes of tropical fruits, woodland greens and sweet citrus, middle notes of ripe strawberries and fragrant jasmine, and bottom notes of sweet seasonal raspberries.

• White Tea + Bergamot: This floral fragrance is a fresh mix of grapefruit, bergamot, thyme, white tea, nutmeg, rose, honey, tuberose, and jasmine.

• Rosemary Sage: Indulge in some aromatherapy and surround yourself with the herbal mélange of Rosemary Sage. Cooling eucalyptus and pine notes uplift fresh green florals and rosemary, while earthy sage and cedar lend this fragrance an enticing woodsy base. An infusion of fir needle, eucalyptus, and cedar leaf essential oils reinforce the botanical beauty of this scent.

Burn Instructions: On the first burn, allow the pool of wax to extend to the outside rim of the jar to set its memory. Each time you burn the candle again, it will continue to burn to the rim. Keep wicks trimmed to 1/4" and directed away from the sides of the container. Burn candles on a protective, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts.

WARNING: Candles should not be burned for more than 3 hours at a time. Burning a candle for long periods of time when the wax is very low could cause the glass container to explode. Burn within sight. Keep away from flammable objects. Keep away from children and pets.
