Our popular candle-making parties are an elevated, hands-on experience for birthday celebrations, bachelorette parties, baby and bridal showers, corporate team events, church groups, fundraisers, girls’ nights, and children’s celebrations. We host them at our Montgomery, Alabama, studio or bring them directly to your home, business, or venue throughout Alabama and beyond.

What to Expect at a

Candle Making Party

Our private candle parties are thoughtfully planned, so your group can relax, socialize, and enjoy the experience together!

Whether you're celebrating a birthday, gathering friends, hosting a team event, or planning a children’s party, we guide each guest step-by-step through the candle-making process.

It’s creative, hands-on, and designed to feel smooth and welcoming from beginning to end.

Each guest will:

  • Choose a vessel (or be provided a pre-selected vessel)

  • Blend a custom fragrance

  • Hand-pour their own candle

  • Take home a beautifully finished candle to enjoy

No experience is needed. We provide all candle-making materials and instructions.

We do not provide food or beverages. Hosts and guests are welcome to bring refreshments and extra decor, if desired, and may arrive early to set up.

Private candle parties begin at $55 per guest.

  • Events hosted in our studio require a minimum of 8 guests (or payment equivalent to 8 guests).

  • Events hosted at your home or venue require a minimum of 10 guests (or payment equivalent to 10 guests). Parties outside of Montgomery, Alabama, will also include a mileage fee based on distance.

Limited daytime studio availability may allow for smaller gatherings upon request.

Children’s celebrations are offered at separate pricing.

How to book

1. Submit an Inquiry

Complete the inquiry form below with your preferred date, location, and estimated guest count.

2. Confirm Your Date and Party Location

We will follow up to confirm availability and finalize event details.

3. Secure Your Event

  • Groups submitting one combined payment will submit a $450 deposit to secure the date. The deposit will be applied to the final balance. It is non-refundable but may be applied to a rescheduled event, subject to availability. Please note, we can’t hold dates for groups unless the deposit has been paid.

  • Groups paying individually will receive a registration link to share with guests. For individually paid events, the host serves as guarantor of the minimum guest requirement.

  • All guests must register and submit payment at least 24 hours prior to the event so we can prepare materials and equipment.

  • Yes. Candles are poured during your event and may be taken home that day. We recommend allowing at least 24 hours for the candle to fully cure before lighting.

    If additional cooling time is needed, candles may be left for later pickup or collected once fully set.

  • Children’s celebrations are structured with age-appropriate instruction and fragrance selections. While we welcome a range of ages, we recommend reaching out in advance to discuss your group so we can ensure the experience is a great fit.

  • Most private candle parties last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on group size and event format. We can accommodate shorter parties, if needed for an event schedule.

  • All attendees are expected to register and participate in the candle-making experience. Due to space and material preparation, we are unable to accommodate non-participating guests. For children’s events, supervising parents are welcome if needed.

  • Yes. For birthdays, holidays, and special celebrations, we can create custom labels to mark the occasion. Please let us know ahead of time, and we will work with you on the design.

  • Guests will choose from a curated selection of our signature fragrances available at the time of the event. Our selections are designed to appeal to a wide range of participants and custom scent blending is encouraged!

  • We recommend comfortable clothing. While spills are uncommon, candle-making materials like oil and wax may stain delicate fabrics. Additionally, children’s celebrations may involve color dye.

  • Yes. Limited parking is available. Lunchtime on the weekdays is the hardest time to find parking, so parties during those hours should arrive early to secure a spot.

  • Yes. We provide all candle-making materials and equipment. The host must provide appropriate tables, seating for all guests, and access to a standard electrical outlet for our wax melter. We’re happy to offer setup guidance in advance.
