If you’re new here - I’m Melissa, the founder of Melissa Warnke Candles.

A little about me

I’m a mom of two sweet daughters. I’m slightly addicted to tennis and Diet Dr. Pepper! And years ago, I poured one candle into a vintage teacup and posted a picture of it to Facebook. Back then, my little business was called Wicks & Willow.

I never imagined I’d one day become a shop owner or candle maker, but over time, it became something I chose to build with intention.

That little creative outlet grew into a huge part of my life and identity. It’s grown right alongside my precious daughters, who now love helping in the studio as little candlers themselves. We’re now a full-scale studio in Montgomery, Alabama, where our team now hand pours candles for brands, businesses, and customers all over the U.S.

The details matter

Each candle is handcrafted with care and finished with intention - from gold leaf or custom wax seals, to memorable fragrances and elevated styling.

It’s been unexpected, fun, rewarding, sometimes exhausting - and always worth it.

And yes - that teacup candle is the O.G.!!
