About the Fundraiser
In Madison’s Words…
My passion for the American Heart Association and the Go Red for Women campaign is deeply personal. Heart disease is not just a cause I support; it is something that has touched my family and shaped my life.
In January, I lost my grandmother to congestive heart failure, a loss that strengthened my commitment to honoring her legacy through advocacy. My mother also lives with heart conditions, which has given me an even greater understanding of the importance of awareness, prevention, and support for women’s heart health.
Supporting the American Heart Association is my way of turning personal loss and lived experience into purpose. Through the Go Red for Women campaign, I have the opportunity to help raise awareness that heart disease remains the leading cause of death for women, while also encouraging women to prioritize their health and know the warning signs.
What draws me to this campaign is its emphasis on education, empowerment, and community. It is about more than fundraising; it is about helping save lives, sharing stories, and ensuring women feel seen in their health journeys.
Partnering with Melissa Warnke Candles through this special candle collaboration has been a beautiful extension of that mission. For me, this campaign is about advocacy, awareness, and helping more families keep their loved ones healthy and close.

Burn Instructions: On the first burn, allow the pool of wax to extend to the outside rim of the jar to set its memory. Each time you burn the candle again, it will continue to burn to the rim. Keep wicks trimmed to 1/4" and directed away from the sides of the container. Burn candles on a protective, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts.
WARNING: Candles should not be burned for more than 3 hours at a time. Burning a candle for long periods of time when the wax is very low could cause the glass container to explode. Burn within sight. Keep away from flammable objects. Keep away from children and pets.
